    Dr. Mia Bell is a caring and compassionate psychiatrist. She believes in a holistic approach to mental health and completes a thorough psychiatric assessment of all patients in order to make the best individualized treatment recommendations.

    Dr. Bell does not treat active eating disorders or active alcohol/drug use disorders. She also does not treat persons with active suicidal ideation or self-harm behaviors. If you feel that you are in need of emergency care, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

  • Booking an Initial Appointment

    • All appointments are currently virtual. We are accepting English-speaking patients who live in Florida.

    • Click the "Book Now!" link.

    • Select an appointment type and time.

    • Enter your demographic information and please note what type of insurance you have in the "reason for appointment" section.

    • Enter your credit card details to hold your appointment slot. You will not be charged until the time of your visit.

    • After your appointment is confirmed (typically within one business day), you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions to prepare for your visit.

    • If you are using your insurance for appointments (only Aetna/Optum accepted), please schedule your appointment at least 3 business days out so we have time to verify your insurance. When your appointment is confirmed, you will get an email from "Alma" to put in your insurance info- it is important to put this in as soon as possible.

  • Insurance & Fees

    Dr. Mia Bell is only in-network with Aetna and Optum insurances. Please note that your insurance will only be accepted if it is your primary insurance and not affiliated with Medicare/Medicaid.

     

    If you do not have Aetna/Optum, you may still be able to get partially reimbursed depending on your insurance plan’s out-of-network coverage. You will pay Vibrant Behavioral Health directly at the time of your visit. Following your visit, you will be provided with a receipt called a "superbill" upon your request. You can provide this to your insurance company to request reimbursement. For those without Aetna and Optum insurances, the following fees apply:

    • New Patient Evaluation (~60 minutes): $350
    • Follow up appointment (~30 minutes): $150

    Please note that any patient (with or without insurance) is subject to a $50 fee for a no-show or late cancelation (less than 24 hours in advance).
